We’re thrilled to report that our Meluco Well Restoration Expedition in Mozambique resulted in 19 restored wells. As part of our revised strategy, the newly trained mechanics will carry on with the project and rehabilitate the remaining non-functioning wells in the district. Once the pumps are up to code and reports are submitted, our team will issue certificates and work with the municipality on deployment.
It’s a priceless moment (especially for kids) when the village well that hasn’t produced water for years now miraculously works. No more digging. No more waking up at 4 in the morning to search for drinking water. No more missing school. Just real-time hope.
