Last weekend our partners at River to Well joined us in West Michigan for a weekend of Health and Hygiene education, Well Repair training and strategic planning. Dr. Sherrie Tamburello led a workshop that centered on germ transmission and oral rehydration: two key components that are part of our water and sanitation training in Africa. Tom Tilton and Brad Haan led a well mechanic workshop. The workshop began with an overview on the Afridev pump system and later culminated with a hands-on well repair. The weekend concluded with a strategic planning session facilitated by Brad Ruiter. Special thanks to River to Well, especially Whitney Eriksen, Ken Chang and Rusty Wright. We look forward to deepening our collaboration to help bring clean water to those who need it most.
