Leaders, Irene Sauseda And Samantha Perez of Lodi, CA wanted to help children in their church cultivate compassion for others around the world. After a short presentation on the need for clean water, 25 kids (ages 3-12) decided to start collecting coins. When the project was completed, the kids raised $110. The coins will go toward helping repair a non-functioning well in northern Mozambique. It costs Vox just under $2 to give a person clean, safe water. That means the kids in Lodi, CA are impacting 56 people. Well done!
GVSU Student Kelly Edwards, and fellow German Clubers wanted to do something to make a difference. Each year the club hosts a Penny War on campus. This year they finished with $252. The money was gifted to Vox and will go toward repairing non-functioning wells. High fives to Kelly and the German Club!
