Six months ago, I had zero mechanical experience. Today, I’m deep into rebuilding a 1994 Land Rover Defender 110—trial, error, repeat. What began as a hands-on challenge has become a vehicle for something far greater.

This Defender is now a living commitment to raising awareness and funding clean water projects with VOX United. After traveling to Africa multiple times and witnessing how profoundly access to clean water and sanitation transforms lives, my husband and I knew we wanted to give back in a meaningful way in 2026.
