Clean Drinking Water: Inhambane, Mozambique

By March 24, 2015water

Late January, VOX led a well restoration expedition to Inhambane, Mozambique. Of the 33 non-functioning wells identified for rehabilitation, 27 access points were fully restored. Strategic government workers from the Department of Planning & Infrastructure in the Jangamo and Homoine districts traveled with our teams to work and liaison during the expedition. A training team is currently working with the provincial municipality on sustainability – training & certifying mechanics, creating supply channels and water committee development.

Vox is working to secure sponsorships to underwrite the restoration of 50 more non-functioning wells in the area. Let us know if you or your business would like to help us get it done.
