Since 2009, Vox has provided over 200,000 people with access to sustainable, clean water in Mozambique, Botswana and Tanzania.
We’ve provided clean water access through new well installation, water filtration and well restoration.
In order for us to accomplish our goal, we need to increase our capacity and purchase the right tools to get the job done. We need your help.
A key component is transportation. Because we’re serious about high yielding solutions on the ground, we’ve made sure to identify the best suited vehicle for the job, the U1300L Unimog.
The Unimog U1300 is purpose-built, reliable, self-contained and will take our gear, well parts and people wherever we need to go – especially remote, off-the-grid villages that are next to impossible to reach. It will be used as a service vehicle to carry parts, tools and work teams back into the bush to rehabilitate non-fuctioning wells.
The Unimog has been purchased and is currently in West Michigan where Vox is collaborating with partner businesses to customize and outfit. Once the vehicle is complete and has been tested, it will be shipped to Africa where it will be registered in country and begin its tour of duty. See details below.
With your positive support and generosity, we’ve been able to provide access to clean water to thousands of people in Africa. We celebrate the work, but we can’t stay there long. Time is compressed and there are still millions of people in need. We have the solution, now we just need the tools to make it happen.
