Our History
Vox was founded in 2007 after a small group of friends from West Michigan ventured to South Africa and came face to face with the staggering consequences of extreme poverty and HIV/AIDS.

Compelled to do something, several from the group left their jobs and moved their families to Johannesburg to live, learn and serve. As relationships with national leaders developed, the team began co-authoring community-specific initiatives. At the same time, a stateside NPO administrative infrastructure was created and Vox began securing resources.

Today, Vox United addresses disease and poverty in conjunction with African NGO’s that share similar values and methods. We assist by providing financial and strategic human resources that empower strategic water, education and enterprise projects.
