Education is a basic human right – essential to unlocking human potential. When a person is knowledgeable and well informed, he or she is more likely to find or create a way out of economic despair. Unfortunately, the unrelenting effects of disease & poverty in Africa often leave children in disadvantaged positions – keeping them from attending school or receiving a quality education.
In response, Vox United works with national leaders to co-create community-based programs that connect kids with schooling and holistic learning opportunities. A Vox education fund has been set up to assist qualifying students with such things as tuition scholarships, uniforms, shoes, books, school supplies, computer training and literacy comprehension. Books+ helps kids to receive quality, grade-level appropriate books.
Today, Vox leads, supports and invests in academic projects that help Africa’s next generation find the capacity to think and move beyond the limits of poverty.
