About Vox
Who We Are
Vox United is an international non-profit organization working in sub-Saharan Africa. Our process revolves around collaborating with exemplary organizations and local community leaders to establish effective, sustainable responses to poverty and disease. Vox is Latin for “voice,” and Vox United seeks to fulfill the Biblical mandate of Proverbs 31:8 - “Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves; ensure justice for those who are perishing.”
What We Do
Instead of insisting on pre-packaged plans from America, we seek to weave the innovation and assistance of the West with the cultural understanding of African leadership and the structures of national organizations to co-author unique, community-specific programs around water, education and enterprise.
Our conviction as an organization centers on bringing practical help and hope to the voiceless of Africa. Unfortunately, the unrelenting demand of disease and poverty has left many African communities in a position where they are unable to generate the kinds of resources needed to turn the corner toward a sustainable future. Vox United believes in a mandate that beckons the global community to unite, leverage resources and help empower people to help themselves.
Our Mission
Vox United exists to facilitate a concerted effort among universities, local churches, humanitarian organizations and businesses to eliminate extreme poverty and disease in sub-Saharan Africa. We build international bridges resulting in viable, holistic, self-sustainable solutions in infected and underdeveloped communities.
